Degradation Of Papal Knighthood!

Let me get this straight. An Orthodox Jewish Rabbi has been made a Knight Commander of the Pontifical Order of St Gregory the Great? The last time I checked, the Papal Orders, in common with all traditional orders of Knighthood, existed for the protection and promotion of Christendom!
