AD 607, Boniface III ends his reign as Pope.

AD 1918, Emperor Karl (now Blessed Karl) of Austria-Hungary abdicates, Austria becomes a republic. Blessed Karl is the father of HIRH Otto von Habsburg und Lothringen, my daughter Dominique's God father.

AD 1982, Solidarity leader Lech Walesa released by Stalinist Polish Government. And seven years later, that government fell and Poland was once again free!
