Spain On Edge After General Threatens Revolt

This controversy arises because of the secular heresy of nationalism. The nationalism of the Catalans has come into collision with the nationalism of Spain. In the Traditional Catholic Kingdom there would have been no problem, because the King was «King of the Spains», not «King of Spain» as he now is. As much as I admire Gral. Francisco Franco, this is one point upon which he was wrong. Had he taken the lead from his Carlist allies and restored the fueros of the constituent provinces of Spain, the country would have been spared much grief and Catalonia and the Basque country might still be bastions of Catholic Traditionalism instead of hot beds of socialist Revolution.
