Today is the Feast of St Thomas a Becket.

The Collect from the Roman Breviary:

O God, who for thy Church's sake didst suffer thy Bishop Thomas gloriously to be slain by the swords of wicked men : grant, we beseech thee ; that all they who call upon him for succour may be profited by the obtaining of all that they desire. Through.

Great site! Sorry to bug you with one little pedantic detail, but St. Thomas Becket never called himself Thomas a Becket. That was some wacky Protestant invention (perhaps they got him mixed up with Thomas Aquinas or something). Like I said, it's a nerdy, little, pedantic thing to point out, but, you know, just FYI and all.

Anyway, this is a cool blog, and I'm glad to have found it! Keep crusading!
