Update on Miers Religion

It seems both Paul Mulshine and I jumped the gun on this one. According to Catholic News Service there is no evidence that Miers was a Catholic, so her immortal soul is not in danger. However, since it seems she was probably an Episcopalian (fascinating, isn't it, that with religion playing such a part in her nomination, that no one seems to know for sure?) it doesn't help Rove with his ill-advised remarks. Yes, there are many, many more Catholics than members of the Anglican sect in this country, but if he doesn't consider them Christians, I can guarantee you he doesn't think we are!!
