AD 1530, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey adviser to England's King Henry VIII, R+I+P. He was one of the last moderating influences on Henry's sexual lusts, which led directly to schism and ultimately the protestant revolt in England.

AD 1780, Maria Theresa Roman Empress by right of marriage and motherhood, Queen of Hungary, R+I+P. Her son, Joseph, who succeeded her was a freethinking heresiarch who gave birth o a new form of Erastianism called «Josephism».

AD, 1812 Napoleon's Grand Army crosses Berezina River in retreat from Russia. His attempt at bringing Holy Mother Russia under the yoke of the Revolution ended here and led directly to his downfall.
