Holy Father To Help Launch Ecumenical Assembly

Blessed Pius IX, Pope Leo XIII and St Pius X, Pray for the Church! They condemned false œcuminism of this sort, because it places the Church and heretical sects on an even plane.

My thoughts on «Œcumenism» or «inter-religious dialogue». Since the Council, these words have meant that Catholics sit down with some other group, heretic or infidel and both sides make demands (the Catholics very timidly!). The heretics or infidels refuse to budge, the Catholics give in as much as they can without abandoning what's left of the Faith and Rome or the appropriate Chancery issues a news release about what great progress has been made!
