Patricia Ann Puma, obit. 11 September 2001, R+I+P

One of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to pray for the living and the dead. On this, the fifth anniversary of the murderous attack on the World Trade Center by the jihadist swine, it is fitting that we pray for the victims. A project was started recently to commemorate all the victims throughout the blogosphere. A victim was assigned to each blogger who volunteered. The New Crusade was assigned Patricia Ann Puma, age 33 at her death and the wife of Kevin and mother of Kiefer, 10, BriAnna, 5, and Dylan, 1 (ages as of 09/11/2001).

We beseech thee, O Lord, of thy loving-kindness, to have mercy upon the soul of this thy handmaid Patricia: that, being purged from all the defilements whereby in this dying body she hath been defouled, she may be restored to her inheritance in everlasting salvation. Through.

May we remember on this day, not only the victims of 9/11, but all those murdered by the jihadists throughout the ages, and remember especially that we are not "at war with terror", we are at war with Islam as we have been for the last almost 1400 years.
