I think anyone convicted of terrorist acts should be given the death penalty - and when the (human) justice system errs (i.e. innocent man is executed) we simply say "sorry" or "we apologize for that mistake". That should be the ONLY time we apologize to the infidels, although I am just as agreeable to simply saying "Such is life."
