USA On The Slippery Slope
I don't usually post items that are USA specific, because I know there are plenty of bloggers out there who are doing a terrific job. However, I consider these two stories important enough to go ahead and post them.
First, from Christianity Today, a story on California's Proposition 71, giving State backing to cloning and embryonic stem-cell research. As we've known all along, this evil was only approved by the voters because of massive lies on the part of the supporters in terms of pie-in-the-sky promises. Read the article here:

Second, on The Story of the Week, the nomination of Harriet Miers as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the US. President Bush has nominated a candidate who is highly acceptable to the anti-life, anti-family Democrats, but his giving pause to his conservative supporters.
