I thank you for your congratulatory response to the announcement of our arriving child, Joan.
But I wonder at the same time.
I have a son named Edward, after the 'Confessor'. And certainly St. Ferdinand of Spain ranks high.
Are you sure your Francophile penchant is not leading you to name Louis IX as the "greatest" of kings? (ha ha)
