Begin your Novena in honour of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary today. Remember that this Feast was instituted to remember our great victory over the jihadist swine at Lepanto in 1571.

Fr Lasance suggests any approved prayers of the Church for a novena. It would seem that the Litany of Loretto and the Sub Tuum or the Memorare would be appropriate for this one.

Our Lady of Victory, Pray for us! OLV is the parish here in the NY Wall Street area.

Our Lady of Fatima is depicted with a crescent moon under her feet. Please God!

My three sons all play(ed) football for a Catholic HS run by the Marianists. Before each game, they take a knee, pray the Hail Mary and finish with the above.

At tough times in their games (ND games, too) , I've been praying: "Our Lady, Queen of Football Players, pray for us!"

Amen Alleluia!
